EXHIBITIONS BY THE ACADÉMIE DE PHILATÉLIE


The Academy organises an exhibition once every five years as far as possible.
ENTRY IS FREE AND OPEN TO ALL
During these events there is often a day (advertised in advance) during which Academicians are present near their displays to answer questions from visitors.

The Academy also includes public meetings conférences publiques .

International exhibitions

At PEXIP in June 1937 the Academy had two frames of rare items lent by members.

Public meetings (sometimes by invitation only) and some with displays have been held at Arphila 75 (June 1975, Grand Palais, Paris), PhilexFrance 82 (June1982, La Défense), and PhilexFrance 89 (July 1989, "Porte de Versailles", Paris).

One should also note that at PhilexFrance 1999, l'Académie de Philatélie had a stand (provided by the organisers) on which more than 100 items from members were shown in display frames. All were included with full descriptions in issue 161 (third quarter of 1999) of the Academy’s journal "Documents Philatéliques",

Participation of the Academy in other exhibitions
